What is the Laura Ridley Cake Smash Experience?

1. Book in

Email or call me to book in your session. We have a chat on the phone to get to know each other and plan your session.

2. The portrait session

This is where the magic happens! Cake Smash sessions take up to 90 minutes in our cosy home studio. We will capture all those gorgeous details, expressions and all cake smash cuteness.

3. The design & ordering appointment

See your photos for the first time! Choose your favourite photos for your digital collection and choose to add on album and or wall art.

We will treat your kids like they are our own and with the utmost care, ensuring your session is safe, stress free and enjoyable.

We also want to ensure your memories are safe to! We back up your session following the shoot to a state of the art cloud based system. All files are also backed up on an external hard drive for added redundancy. Your shoot is backed up indefinitely and can access your images at any time.

Hi, I’m Laura! I am a mum of three – for the past 15 years, I’ve been creating award winning photographs which adorn the walls of my clients homes and are proudly shared with family and friends. 

There’s nothing I love more than capturing those first precious weeks of a baby’s life. These weeks pass by so quickly, I want every parent to be able to look back on these moments and re-live these first few weeks through the photos that we capture together.
